Tessa is one of the smiling faces you will meet at reception when you enter the clinic, unless she is providing assistance to the techs in the treatment area in an endless number of ways.
Tessa has been at Signal Hill Animal Clinic since 2011 and during that time she also graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Biological Sciences with distinction and with a specialization in Zoology. It is her aim to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and her true passion for animal health makes this the perfect career path for her.
Always active and on the move, Tessa loves to play dodgeball and soccer, enjoys snowboarding and takes every opportunity she can to get out to the mountains. She is also an active volunteer for animal related charities.
Tessa currently has an adorable bichon shih-tzu puppy named Bailey (4 X 4 the 2nd!). She adores felines and one of her greatest ambitions is to one day have an orange tabby who has already been christened Kevin! Kevin may not even be born yet but a wonderful life awaits him with Tessa!
Anne moved to Calgary from Ireland in 2013 and took up her first job in Canada at Signal Hill Animal Clinic shortly after her arrival. The world of veterinary care was completely new to Anne who had enjoyed a long and successful career in Journalism in Ireland, but having successful obtained a Diploma in Pet Care and Veterinary Assisting, she was ready for the challenge and has never looked back!
Anne has a special love of client care in the clinic and will always go the extra mile to ensure that the many clients she meets on a daily basis are completely happy with their visit. She also has an obsession for puppies and kittens as well as a special love for senior pets and rescue animals.
Anne is owned by two Irish rescue dogs! Millie is a typical yappy terrier mix and Fonzie is cocker shih-tzu mix (and the original 4 X 4!) Anne calls them her heart (Millie) and soul (Fonzie).
Anne and her husband Tom and the dogs are still busy exploring all the magnificent beauty that Canada has to offer and take every possible opportunity to visit the lakes and mountains in their adopted home.
